Storms, Snow and floods but we’ve not missed an appointment yet!

With Storm Dylan having passed and Storm Elenaor currently battering the sides of our office block every other day, we get an email saying one of the UK’s main couriers cant deliver our parcel on time due to flooding or weather conditions. Yet not one Seal Calibration engineer has missed a single appointment this winter due to adverse weather conditions.

All engineers are requested to do weekly vehicle checks to ensure we keep our fleet in the best possible condition. we have all our vehicles services quarterly and often when the weather is forecast to be at its worse pay for a hotel close by to the engineers next day appointment to eliminate the risk of being delayed.

This winter we even provided out engineers with a ”Winter Car Pack” including a shovel, a florescent jacket, gloves, first aid kit, a toe rope and warning triangle. Providing a nationwide service from the top of Scotland to the very bottom of the country is not always easy especially during winter months but we have a committed team and we very much believe in a customer-focused approach.

With a cold snap due next week, frost and ice are likely to be an issue we will be making sure our vehicles are in the best possible condition and looking forward to seeing all of our 2018 customers very soon.
