An electrocardiograph is one of the most sensitive pieces of medical equipment. We get more calls from practice nurses not getting a clear trace from their ECG machine than any item in general practice. There are many reasons this may be from the wrong paper or the paper not installed correctly to interference from other electrical equipment in close proximity to not using the corrector dried up electrodes. However to ensure that your ECG machine is in tip-top condition working efficiently and accurately, to comply with CQC and manufacturer guidelines your ECG machine should be calibrated and serviced annually.
Annual calibration we can complete annually on-site while calibrating all of your medical equipment, a full service, however, has to be conducted at our workshop as this is a more in-depth process and then there is always the more comprehensive option of a years ECG service contract which offers users protection and support for 12 months.
